Gillette - Nascar Tour: Pocono, Eldora, New Hampshire

So this week I've been in Pocono...never been here before..it's so pretty. We are staying at a resort type place with a water park (that's closed..just my luck) and all kinds of other fun stuff. We are having a company luau which is going to be a lot of fun. At the track we are going to be filming a few commercials. I will be doing a few different ones, One with John Cena, Joey Logano, and Clint Bowyer. We will have a camera crew go out to the camp site and tell the nascar fans that we are going to be filming a documentary on them about razors, nascar and life of the nascar fan... then I will drive our spiffy razor golf cart and surprise the fans with a Gillette Young Gun driver and we will do an invasion and have them shave right there. So much fun! I'll keep yall updated!

Eldora: Was fun and DIRTY! Love dirt racing...though I didnt get to see Jeff G win that's okay it was lots of fun anyway.. there is NOTHING OUT HERE... Subway and Walmart..

New Hampshire: BLAST! Jamie got to come work this race with me and we had a great time. We ended up staying in Boston the last night and it was so much fun to reminisce about our ASK days... Basically we just drove around on our golf carts and went into the camp grounds and have people take the proglide challenge and they became believers. :)

February consisted of... Daytona, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Nashville, Bristol, Myrtle Beach, Martinsville and back to Chicago.

Daytona...the luck from Miami carried itself to Daytona...yall ready for this mess?
We worked for Pub 44 for Bike Week...promising money, great time and easy work...HAHAHAHA J O K E!!! We worked for some felons who wrote us a $2,000 bad check and were later being searched for by the police for a number of charges. Can you believe that?! BAD NEWS! Fun road trip I guess..

Chicago to Albuquerque ... Jamie and I road tripped across the country...kinda..and it was a blast! Went thru, Detroit, Oklahoma, Texas... lot of fun! We took Clay, Jamie's boyfriend his car. We slept in his RV on an Indian Reservation and watched "The hills have eyes" ...it was filmed right near there...FREAKY. We also spent Valentines Day there also... poor Clay. Ha! :) I sure was missing my sweet valentine though!

Las Vegas... We worked the Magic Show which is one of the biggest clothing shows in the US. We worked for..Playboy Jeans just modeling the clothes...the dresses...and the blisters on our feet. Pretty sure we will never do that again...EVER. My sweet boy did send me some flowers the first day we were there... :) I had the giggles after we got off the plane from no sleep and flying to Utah then to LV at 5 am and by the time we checked in we were a hotmess. I do love me some Jamie! :)

Headed to Nashville to spend a little QT with my man, and then headed to Bristol at 11PM to work the Nascar race the following morning...NO SLEEP = NOT PRETTY. Just get the race weekend over with and then it is all play and no work for a week or two. Kevin and I headed to Myrtle Beach to visit my best friend since the 2nd grade and so I could meet my sweet new little nephew baby Parker and so Kev could finally meet Brittiany. We stayed there for a couple of days then headed to Martinsville to WATCH the race. FUN! We went out the first night we were there with Buddy Brett and B rad, and they made me do the hula hoop contest...don't worry..I won. Glad I could make Kev proud. hehe..

I am SO excited I get to see Jamie! It's been 3 months and that is the longest we have been without seeing each other! NOT OKAY. It comes down to today..the airport...I'm probably gonna scream...and I should have made signs...ugh...next time!

OHHHHH kkkk...
January...ughhh....Miami....UGH....see a trend? Jamie and I flew to Miami for 2 weeks to work the Saints Super Bowl VIP parties. Sounds fun, right? W R O N G... we got screwed out of money, and ended up spending way more than what it was worth... the only few good things that came out of the trip was mine and Jamie's reunion, Kevin and Clay coming to see us for a few days, and our Jamaican friendship bracelets my love got for me and Jamie.
We ended up also working a Jordin Sparks event, and then riding around on a Saints bus straight from ... NEW AWLINS! It was a lot of fun, though I thought to myself if I hear "WHO DAT" one more time I am going to go crazy... ha. :) At least they did WIN. We ended up becoming some pretty intense fans by the end of the week, even bought myself a saints shirt..yes, Drew Brees and even downloaded an entire Saints play list. Anyway we survived, and on to the next stop on our little person tour! See you in CHI TOWN.

"Red Nails"

So, painting my nails tonight I realized that red nails are like a type of people...

I was trying to figure out what color nails to do. Looking through all my nail polishes I thought, maybe red since it's almost Christmas...good idea? Maybe..I like dark nails normally but thought it would be fun to change it up...I picked up the OPI color 'vodka and caviar' and I love pretty colors with fun names so I decided to go with that one. Pretty red, cool name..in! Even though I had doubts the entire time, I put the first coat on and I wasn't loving it...it was okay but I wasn't like "OOOHHHHHHHH", went to do the second coat...still no 'WOW' going on. Smudged my thumb when I was put the nail polish away, and then smeared the middle finger when I was turning on the shower. Grabbed the clear thinking I could save the smudges and it only made it worse. Ran all on my finger...looking like a 3 year old painted my nails. To make matters worse it was so freaking thick when I was taking it off, it was hard to get rid of, smeared, dyed my fingers, ran in the cracks, all on my cuticles, under my nails and wasted 50 cotton balls.

So let's break down and compare to people...

Just because someone has a pretty look and cool name doesn't mean they are good people. pretty on the outside does not equal pretty on the inside.

When I put on the first coat I had doubts, like people like polish, gut feelings are typically right...

Tried a second coat to make it better, nope. Only made it more intense and harder to get rid of in the end.

Tried to fix the smeared nails to smooth things out, and make it work even though I didn't really want to, only to have it take forever to dry and be a bigger pain in my butt.

Last step, took the polish off and it stained my nails and the area around it, kind of like when everything hits the fan and people wont go away because they have left marks all over your life not in a good way, in a annoying 'cant get rid of you red polish' kinda way....

Bottom line, I know a few 'Red Nails' and I'm pretty sure you do too...next time go for the one you want in the first place. It will save lots of time, energy and cotton balls. (I don't know what cotton balls really have to do with that but I needed a third example and this one fit.) Andddd, red nails work for some people..just not me.

*A BIG shout out to the girl that made this come to my mind. Because of you, and your lies and fakeness I owe this to you. If they made a VODKA AND CAVIAR RED NAIL AWARD, it would be yours!

I haven't blogged in a while and I wanted to put this out there for yall...I did email it to most of you anyway but why not blog about it too and go back in a year from now and read this and think, "Man, this is why I didn't get the Miss Sprint Cup job..look at what I am doing now" ;)

Hey ya'll...just wanted to write a quick email saying THANKS so much for everyone's thought & prayers about the job with Sprint. I got an email earlier tonight..unfortunately, I didn't get it. BUUUT, that's okay and no doubt in mind that the prayers worked and I am at peace with that decision. I know it wasn't God's will for me to have that job right now and that gives me a humble heart about it. Most of you know I am pretty private about interviews, auditions and castings because this is the part I hate, and normally I don't tell more than 2 or 3 people about things like that and some how it turned in to being a few more this time... hmmm. My big mouth? hehe. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers! AND PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't call or text me about it...yall know how and I am I WILL start crying because that's wendy petty, but I PROMISE I am fine not getting it! :) swear.

yall are the BEST and I'm blessed with such awesome friends and family in my life!

Danggg, OCTOBER? Why did you come so fast? I've fallen off the blog wagon apparently but guess who's back in action?! WENDY PETTY, that's right. And thanks to GOGO In flight internet I can post my blog while flying. The past month has been crazy busy, I've been out of town every weekend in September ...worked for Speed the first weekend in Richmond, VA, then in Charlotte for the NHRA drag race and then a family wedding in Charleston, SC last weekend and now headed to Chicago for 2 weeks. FINALLY I am done packing. Ughhhh, one of my least favorite things. I can't imagine everything I have left behind that I will need. Oh well...had a commercial audition this morning in Greensboro. It well well I think..It was rainy this morning when I left...I made Jess drive so I could study the script. WHY do I suck so bad at memorizing stuff? It sounds like it will be a funny one...it's an Austin Powers spoof, so I will hear something from that soon.

I got to the airport and they said they flight was delayed due to fog in Atlanta...awesome. None the less I am on board and soaring high. However let me do a little math for you.. delayed flight + SCREAMING baby + sitting on the runway for 20 minutes = me going nuts however I DID feel a little better when I got my flight necessity..which is?? You should know by now...YEPPPP Gummy Bears! So now I can't wait to get to Chicago and see Jamie and everyone!!!! Fun times will be had! We have a pretty busy next 2 weeks, and we will start it tomorrow with a 50's style pin up shoot..so that will be a lot of fun. I will try my best to keep my blog to date. :)

P.S. Sunday I did a photo shoot so I will post pics as soon as I get them back..!

Tuesday night...

Landing in Milwaukee was HORRIBLE. I literally thought I was going to die. We went down to land and about 2 seconds from the ground we went back up, full speed and everyone screaming. It was like a horrible part in a movie that the plane was about to go down. The sounds of people gasping and screaming was terrifying. LUCKILY the guy beside me was a pilot a few years ago and talked me through the craziness. I was FREAKING OUT!!!!!! We ended up going about 30 minutes out of the way to re-route and try and come back in for another landing, the pilot said that the wind was too bad (and it was!!!!!) and if it was still the same on the second attempt we would have to go to O'hare. It was the craziest turbulence I have ever experienced. Needless to say the second attempt we did make the landing however if was after we bounced all over the runway. My heart is still in the air...

Thursday 10/15

I can't believe it's almost time for me to go home. I have been so busy since I've been here. We had an amazing photoshoot on Wednesday the 6th. It was a 50's style shoot for a new pin ball game coming out in the next 6 months. The shoot lasted about 4 hours and me and Jamie were so tired when we were done. Hair and makeup took FOREVER and it was good to come home and take a nap.

We also worked with Nexxus Haircare...long hours. looooooong hours is all I can say about that.

Today we have done nothing but hangout. I responded to some modeling jobs and emails. We went shopping and I got some new sunglasses, coat and clothes. Everything I DO NOT need anymore of. Ha...

I will write back when I have another chance...talk to yall later ;-)

Im on the flight home from Chicago. I miss Jamie already! We had so much fun..I didn't even want to leave. Yesterday we had lunch on the water and then went to Bfox's house and floated on the lake and he pulled us around on our floats while he pattle boated..lol..it was a pretty funny sight, then we went over to Jamie's sister's house Rhonda and Randy's..I love them! They are awesome and Rhonda cooked us some fajitas that were so good...yes, I had the peppers and onions..wITH BBQ! :)

Today we didn't do too much, we had lunch on the lake and were going to go out on the boat but ended up not going because we didn't have enough time before I had to be at the airport. I kinda wanted to drop a tear when she dropped me off..lol..kidding but I didn't want to leave! I am on my flight that I ALMOST missed headed to Atlanta, and then I will get into RDU around midnight or a little after...I get to go to the dentist tomorrow and get my teeth bleached for my next pageant. I am SO very excited! ;)

I don't have the energy to type so I am keeping it short. "til next time..

Okay, sooooo I SUCK!!! I haven't blogged in F O R E V E R. But I'm back ya'll, no more worries..

I am headed to Milwaukee right now, I've been up since 4:45am I am tired. :) But I am excited to see Jamie!! I haven't seen her since last month on our Vegas trip trip...she and I are headed to South Dakota for some promotional modeling. Fun, Fun.. I will be gone for 2 weeks and 1 day..That is CRAZY!! Normally for a Nascar weekend we are gone Thursday-Sunday and sometimes Monday..I am pretty nervous how I am going to handle 2 weeks without seeing Bailey and Lipstick!

I have had the slowest month in July that I have had all year. It was nice however I was going STIR CRAZY!!!! August is going to be a CRAZY busy month for me...I am gone for the first 2 weeks in South Dakota and Chicago, then I will be in WIlmington, and then I have a radio interview for my Mrs. Raleigh title with Miss Raleigh...our Pageant is the NC US Beauties Pageant...It is a state pageant so the next step will be NATIONALS. :) I hope I take the crown...

So lately my latest obsession...TWITTER!! I absolutely love it and am sooooo addicted to it. If you are on it, awesome! If not get on it, you will absolutely LOVE IT!! I promise...join and then let me know what you think....about to land so I have to shut down my laptop but I will be back SOOOOON!! xo

Okay, I had ZERO time to blog while I was in Sturgis! The entire 10 days that we were there we probably got 40 hours of sleep! We are all 3 sick, and this drive home has been eternal. We have about 38 minutes left of our 13 hour excursion. It was so much fun! We went to Mt. Rushmore last night and it was freaking amazing. I am so glad we got to come to South Dakota and have a blast, but I am ready to be back and actually get a full nights sleep. We stopped in Sioux Falls this morning about 5am and got back up at 8am to hit the road. Yeah it SUCKED to sleep 3 hours and tease my body and mind!!!! I am really excited for the show to air in October. We had a blast when they did a mini story on us. They followed us home and around the bar and such..I will keep you posted on when the show airs on Tru TV! :) Dawn bought The Essential Michael Jackson Collection CD set so we jammed to MJ today..:) I will post pics soon! WOW...Chicago...the WENDY city :) haha..me and Brittiany had the absolute BEST time. It was so much fun just getting away on a quick girls weekend! We went shopping ALL day EVERYday.. :) and I loved every minute of it.

Thursday went a little like this..

4am...WAKE UP..5am....AIRPORT...6am...TAKE OFF! :) we flew into Charlotte..when we were taking off from Charlotte to Chicago we heard a pop and then the plane SLAMMED on brakes! (Let me remind you we were in the process of take off...full speed the whole 9 yards!) and the Captain comes on the loud speaker and says "We are experiencing a little bit of a mechanical problem...the air reader (SOMETHING blah..blah..) isn't working. He the proceeded to tell us NOT 1, 2, 3 or 4 times but about 5 times how serious this is...um..shouldnt he know proper etiquette to tell us it was no big deal? To keep people calm? Uhh, nope. He also said they were going to "go find us a box really quick to fix it and we should have it done in 10 or 15 minutes." haha NO. unacceptable. If it requires you to try and find a box real quick..no thanks. So me and Brittiany told them we didn't feel comfortable on that flight and we took the 9am flight. Maybe we were a little dramatic...maybe? But we weren't taking ANY chances! So we get there early and we hit the road..shopping here we come! We went to dinner that night with Danielle (works the Nascar/ASK.com tour with me) and she took us to the place she works..GREAT FOOD! :) and then we headed back to the hotel..

Friday..we hit the road early and Britt went to go get her blackberry yay!! now we can bbm! haha ...and then met up with Jamie (yep, ask.com girl also!) and went to get lunch, Navy Pier, shopping, many photo opt's..and then to dinner at this great place...oh and the view was so fabbbbulous! We were over looking Michigan Ave. So Jamie dropped us off at our NEW hotel b/c our first one was gross, haunted, dingy, and scary. Oh and they kept messing things up and causing problems.. (Dramatic again? a little..but that's how we roll) so Brittiany and I stayed up until about 5am...talking, dancing, singing, talking, ordered pizza..ummmm..., talking...haha doing what long lost BFF's do!

Saturday..Bye Bye day.. :( boooo....so we did MORE shopping today..after someone aka housekeeping tried to enter our room TWICE ..one while we were getting out of bed to get a shower and the other time..I was getting out of the shower..Ugh, what is with people?! Oh I meant to mention the room next to us jamming out at 3am to Ludacris, Rhianna, P diddy (or whatever he goes by these days) and we called the hotel lobby that sent security..lol..I took a photo from the peep hole...he knocked and then stood there for about 10 minutes...it was pretty entertaining to see she and I trying to figure out a way we both could peep at the same time. Ha...anyway..we had lunch at Panera, and headed to the airport..I however went to the WRONG airport :(

Finally landed in Raleigh/Durham...ahhh..Great to be home but miss Brittiany sooo much already!

Sunday MOTHERS DAY! We took my mom to lunch :) Happy Mother's Day mommy!!! Love you!

WEEK OFF #1...
Holy Cow!! 2 weeks off?! What does that even mean?? So I am at the beach...Myrtle to be exact...my best friend Brittiany lives here..and it is so great to see her and Kris (her hubby). This is how my week went...
*MONDAY*
Sara and I layed out today..and got so BURNT! :( lol..I do mean lobster red... We had lunch at Firehouse Subs(MY FAV!)...it was so much fun!
*TUESDAY*
I went shopping all day today!! I bought my mom a really cute mothers day gift..(I can't say what it is yet b/c she might read it!) But she will LOVE it..we also went to The Yankee Candle Outlet which I absolutely LOVE..and I got some great stuff from there also! However two things missing..I MISS BAILEY & LIPSTICK!!! :( I wish they were here!...We went to Damon's which is on the beach..and ate with Brittiany, Kris, Sara, Gabriel, and Jason..(Brittiany also had some local friends there too) which was fun..our waiter Dan..aka Danny was a little questionable..lol..
*WEDNESDAY*
Today we layed out on the beach for about an hour and a half which was funnnn...it was nice and sunny, windy and perfect! YAY, I love the beach! I am going to go meet Britt to go shopping for new purses! We leave for Chicago tomorrow morning at 5am.. ahhhh..But we are going to have tons of fun! We are all going to dinner tonight..we just don't know where... :)

Hey everyone! So Sara and I drove to Richmond..about 2 hours or so for me..not too bad..I guess.. :) We all went out to dinner at a cute restaurant ..the servive was so crappy but the food was SO GOOD. There was one chef there or shall I say Chefette..she was so sweet.. we all threw in $5 to give her a tip. She was almost to tears.. It made us all feel really good... The rest of the weekend went like this..5am get up, workout, work all day until 7pm, and then dinner & bed.. lol...oh and then it rained on Saturday...and we got DRENCHED! It was nuts! I did see a few people from South Boston Speedway there which was so cool to see some SoBo fans! :-) I left straight from Virginia to head to Myrtle...Talk to you soon!

TALLADEGA, Alabama: April 23-26

So, A LOT of shake-n-bake went on in Talladega! It was by FAR the best track so far! The fan energy was so fun and I loved the fans and people were so receptive to ask.com and our promotions and the site and stuff! We ended up all flying to Atlanta and all of us girls got a rental car and had a road trip to Alabama...it was about 3 hours..and we had tons of fun! Jamie and I sat in the back of the van and took silly pics the entire time...SO MUCH fun! And of course by the end of the weekend I had lost my voice again! We get to the hotel and check into our "room" to find out it was a freaking apartment! We loved it though! We played house..lol..and made music video's...you can find those on you tube! :) hahahaha. Anyway so one of our managers birthday's were this weekend and we had a surprise party at Hooters for him..we planned everything..ordered a cake..and the whole shabang! :) It was definitely a success! We also hoola-hooped ..I had forgotten how much fun it was! The race days were great..we had pretty short days at the track and like I said before the fans were so awesome! The fans are always great in Nascar but Talladega is like another world out there!! :) I don't have too much to say ... :( which is unusual..I know.. I love talking.. ha. So until next week..

PHOENIX, Arizona 4/15-4/19

I am in the airport at RDU waiting to take off..I am sooo excited about going back West. Texas was fabulous so I hope Phoenix is too! We are off ALL day tomorrow. :) We are going to have some very LONG days Friday and Saturday though. Booooo. I went into the bathroom and had the WORST bathroom experience possible. EVER. Someone was in there having stomach troubles, she didn't have to tell me. I heard myself. So it was getting stinkier every second, then when the toilet flushed it splashed water all over the floor. GROSSS. I had to get out of there STAT. I checked in and it took about -.5 seconds because US AIrways let you check yourself in..which is good because I didnt have to wait forever, AND I got a window seat!! If you know me then you know I get car sick, fly sick if I cant see out a window. SO no sick girl for me today! :-) When we get to Arizona, Jamie's friend is taking us all out. It will be so much fun! I am the last one getting there tonight at 7pm. Sorry girls. lol...Leave it to be me ALWAYS LATE! Maybe the Pilot can be like Jeff Gordon was in Texas last week and blaze through the sky! :) haha.

Phoenix was SO MUCH fun!! Omg. Wednesday night we (Lauren, Jamie and I) went to a volley ball game with some of Jamie's friends that moved out there..it was fun..the water out there is NASTY! Thursday we didn't really have much to do..we were told that we had the day off and then we were told we were working and then we were off and then working. So it was a bunch of hurry up and wait..That was okay with us..we did a FABULOUS photo shoot! hahaha and then later on got in trouble from Nascar because we weren't representing ASK the way we should have. We were only doing cart wheels..lol...None the less it was FUN! We also did a photoshoot on some army hummers..So let me tell you how we got introuble...we got BUSTED b/c Nascar was filming the track getting the camera's set up and they kept coming back to us seeing us clown around. Haha the lady was really nice but she did say they were watching us and it was funny. haha...I bet they were enjoying the view. We were having a fun time playing around, cart wheelin', bee killin' heck of a time! :) I am so BLESSED to not be sitting in a cubicle all day and travel the US and have FUUUUN!!!! :) I thank God EVERY DAY I get to do this! So then we worked a little bit and decided when we got off we were going to go climb a mountain...well lol..that never happened we went to dinner and shopping instead. Be jealous. hehe..My most favorite thing everrrr. Friday and Saturday were fun too...it was a Saturday night race so that was cool. Jamie and I did our signing in Bobby's trailer and then rode to the infield and did some more autograph signing and picture taking.. SO MUCH FUN! I looove race fans! Seriously. AND I had a little boy come up to me and wanted me to sign his picture "To my new boyfriend." hehe..it was cute, you guys can't even imagine what people want us to write on these!! YIKES! So then Saturday night Jamie, Lauren, Danielle and I went to eat dinner at OLIVE GARDEN. We had bread sticks, salad, soup and then Danielle and I shared a fudge brownie, cake, chocolate thing. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!! We were all about to DIE! And the table across from us was a guy who has finger sausages...YUCK haha. He was pretty gross yall. We tried taking pictures of him ..well we took a photo of Lauren and Danielle trying to be discrete and then he decided to be in the pic too and was behind them holding his arms up SMILIN'! lol.It was fun. Ahh, guess you had to be there? I wish we had a video camera with us! Because yall would DIE! Anyway, Phoenix was fun and im back in Good Ole' NC! Next Stop? TALLADEGA. Shake and Bake.

DALLAS, Texas 4/1 - 4/5

I am sitting at RDU airport...and I couldn't find my gate..haha..Guess what I did? ... I was looking for my gate C19 and I get to the end of the terminal where it clearly says C15- C21 and C19 is no where to be found..so I ASK this lady working at a kiosk (I think she HATES her job!!) at gate C21 and she tells me it is at the other end of the terminal because the numbers go in numerical order. Um, duh, and C19 is NOT there..hmm..I can see C17, C18, C20 and C21..anyway I decided to get smart and go ask someone else and she was really nice and basically just let me know that was my SEAT NUMBER and not my gate number...as many times as I fly I don't even know where the gate is?! haha, my blonde moment for the day I guess. Anyway I made it to my gate..and I am waiting to board. I have to fly into Atlanta and I have an hour lay over and then I will head to Texas! I'm flying my not so fav airline :( blah. I keep feeling like I have forgotten something! I hate that..I am really excited to get to Texas and see all the girls again..it feels like forever and it's only been a week! :) We're BOARDINGGG! :)

OMGGGGGAAAAH. I want to move to Texas!! I absolutely love it here!! We had so much fun! Friday was about 65 and sunny, breezy...and then Saturday was 80+ SUNNY, Windy (30+ mph wind!!!). We had a meeting on Thursday and it went really well, basically we did a recap of our program and got to see our "hero cards". Jamie and I did an autograph signing in Bobby's merchandise trailer on Saturday which was really funny. A guy came up to her and he wanted his photo personalized to 'Johnny' and I thought he said DONNIE..haha. I didn't give it to him because I saw Jamie's said Johnny and I was like "Ummm isn't his name Donnie?!" She quickly corrected me! How embarassing would that have been?? Nice..I know. Anyway Saturday night we drive about 2 hours to get 20 minutes away..haha Texas roads and interstates are hideous! They are impossible to follow. I still want to move there though! :) We went to dinner uptown and we were going to eat at Primos and the wait was so long..so we ate at another cute little cafe/bread co. It was really good!! Sunday was fun also, went by very quickly :( and then I hit the airport! My flights were good, uneventful which is what I love!!! I can't wait to get home and watch the ACM's! :) Anyway I am OFF this coming up weekend for EASTER, woo hoo!

I am home this weekend but I must admit... I MISS THE GIRLS!!! I have been so busy these past few days, shopping, went into the salon a couple of days, on Wednesday went to Jess' house and Laura, Jess and I all hung out..me and Laura watched America's funniest videos! lol.. went to my brother's house yesterday and we went to eat and then we were supposed to go shopping for his new house and we didn't even get to that. But I got the new Zac Brown Band CD.. I LOOOOVE it! Such a great CD! I was bored today, it was rainy :( I didn't do anything but went to lunch with my brother and Josh, then went shopping for a new laptop and found one I wanted and they didn't have anymore in the store :( grr.. Came home and took a 30 minute nap..and about to take a looong bubble bath! :) I have 2 castings to go to tomorrow..so let's keep those fingers crossed! :)

Thursday 3/19
Oh Tennessee.. it will be a lot of fun! So we went through the mountains on the drive which was so pretty! However I left NC and it was 75 and sunny and my car is telling me it is 58 here and it's kinda over cast!!! :( yuck! We passed a couple of race haulers ..and then we passed a PINK BUG! It was so cute! Loved it! We went to dinner at Outback tonight and I ate an entire BLOOMING ONION! OMG...my stomach feels so sick! We also met Elliott Sadler..he is tall..well I guess everyone is tall next to me, he was decked out in UNC stuff. Very nice guy. Now were going back to the hotel..I'm so tired!!!!

Friday 3/20
Today I didn't have to get up early! We met in the lobby at 7:30 and it was so nice to sleep in until 6:30! Ahhh.. the small things we love! :) hehe.. anyway we headed to the track..the scenery is so pretty! So many mountains and stuff.. but one thing..IT IS FREEZING!! I am NOT a fan of that!!! The high today is 60. Lovely.
Today was good, we were busy and the race fans here rock! A little chilly for my liking but I can't complain too much..See you tomorrow am BRIGHT and EARLY..

P.S. Today is my brother's 25th bday! Happy Birthday Chris. Getting old.

Saturday 3/21
ughhhh..4:30 am came too early! The track was once again FREEZING! :( But again the fans are so nice here and they love racing so they are easy going and fun to talk to!
Tonight Lauren, Me, Amanda and Jamie went to eat Sush..SIKKKEEE Mexican and then we went to Walmart and paged Amanda on the intercom..lol..we met Danielle's grandparents..they were really cute and then we played a little prank on our bosses!! haha!!!! :)

RACE DAY! The high today is 70ish so I am so excited! It is going to be so warm! Finally. I am ready to head back home and we are having a dinner for Chris' birthday.. Nothing too exciting happened today..so I will see you in NC....

Today were heading to Atlanta..this should be fun/interesting.. :) My mom, brother and Josh are coming with me. We picked up the rental car this morning and now were headed to pick up the boys..
We finally made it to Atlanta..the traffic sucks FYI..And we went to dinner with everyone so it was cool for everyone to meet my family and stuff. More tomorrow..Im sleepy! zZzZzZzz

Friday 3/6
We went to the track today and I am in the infield and I LOVE IT! I got to see Jeff Gordon and Bobby Labonte practice and qualify. :) So much fun! Also we met some really great people, We met this one guy..Joe and he knew everything you could imagine about Nascar! He sounded just like Larry the Cable guy..! It was way to funny! We also met his wife Missy, and son Dillon. They made my day! He said he will come back before the end of the weekend and say hey to us..he better do it!

Saturday 3/7
Today was so much fun at the track, it was very nice weather and the sun was out so it was so pretty! Tonight my brother, me, Jamie, Josh, Amanda and Lauren went to a SUSHI Bar (see a trend here?!) and my brother had Edamame for the first time..he liked it.. I told him it was delish! haha...anyway then we hit up Ross..lolol. It was a lot of fun..the actual clothing wasn't so great but we had a blast. So then we went to Target..and pretty much embarrassed everyone around us..enough said.

RACE DAY ..woo hoo... Joe came back by to visit.. stumped us with questions again..and the day was fabulous! We had great weather and then we went and viewed our pictures from Vegas for our Hard Cards..GET EXCITED!!! :)

Yay for NOT being sick and having sunshine! Pray for this drive home with these crazy people! :) haha.

I am so excited to go to Vegas. I have never been and I have only heard great things.. We can see what Wendy Petty thinks about it.. :) I am NOT looking forward to this crazy long flight..I will see you when I get there..
ouuuuuuuchhhhhh...My knee's are dying! The flight was so long :( BUT the good news? I flew my favie...JETBLUE!! So I watched me some Paula Dean, and FOOD network. I love watching those shows.. Also I watched CMT and Lady Antebellum was giving a live performance and let me tell you I am a F*a*N* now! I loooove them!! Where have they been all my life?! :) Seriously..Go buy the CD!

Saturday 2/28

YEP..I went gambling for the FIRST time ever.. It was okay..I won $39 and walked away! lol..Jamie and I saw a guy cashing out..you know only $10,000 like it was no biggie. Umm...Sir? I told Jamie I wonder if he spent twenty grand or fifty bucks?! That's a lot of money.. But anyway Jamie explained to me how to play roulette..I feel just as dumb if not dumber than I did.. :) hehe she is better at that stuff than me! I just wanted to wear sunglasses inside..not for my 'poker face' just because the sun never sets on a rock star and it was bright! ha. haaaaa. So we wrapped up the night and we go into this cab and they didn't know where our hotel was..nice try..let's get another cab! So anyway we got there...about 55mph the entire way..but we made it.. You think were tired right? NOPE. We did a photo shoot in the hallway! We had a lot of fun! We looove talking pictures 24/7..be jealous!

AND we did our photo shoot for our hard cards and website stuff..be lookin out!

Sunday 3/1
The flu came to visit me :( I am sooo sick. I was sick all day. Now I am at the airport and the snow storms on the east coast have cancelled my flight! NOOOO! :( They are telling me Tuesday night is the quickest they can get me home! grrrr.
*Breaking News* :) (I had to..) anyway, Sara and I thought we were going to be snowed in until Tuesday BUT they got me on a flight tonight at midnight to fly into JFK-New York..
JFK-NY: My flight's keep getting delayed :( I just want to go home..I am so sick my nose hurts, my throat is killing me and I just want to sleep some place other than an airport.
Yessss...we're taking off. See you in NC!

Ugh...TOO EARLY! It's 4:30am and I am at the airport..my flight leaves at 5:40 and it will be a LOOONG day of flying. Boo. I fly into Arizona and then to Cali. On the plane from Phoenix to Fontana I sat next to a Nascar Official and he was telling me all about Nascar and the fly into Fontana..he was telling me about the 'rocky ride' we would experience..fun stuff..he was so nice. We flew on a tiny plane which was a little scary but everyone on our plane was Nascar affiliated.. so it's cool to hear their stories..Nascar is one big happy family and I'm part of it now..Yessss!

Sunday 2/22
RACE DAY...It was kind of slow at this track...Nascar isn't as popular out here as it is in the South and NOTHING compared to Daytona! It was fun. We didn't do much we had pretty long days, we did go to a sushi place called 'Sushi Boat' and Jamie told me tempora was good..SIKE!! Ew it was deep fried vegetables..hmm.. :) Then we went to Baskin Robbins and that was good! We had the guy going crazy because we all wanted to try all the flavors! haha, poor guy! Anyway, I'm catching a red eye tonight.. :(

Next Stop? Vegassss! =)

Tuesday 2/10
I am so nervous and excited at the same time..to meet all the girls, to travel, start this new job all of these things are going to happen so fast. I am flying into Charlotte which will be a short flight and then I will then fly to Florida. I'm ready to get there! I will be meeting Jamie in Charlotte and we will fly together to Daytona so that will be nice to get to know her. She and I are going to be the first two there..Okay..I'm boarding I will write later. Wish me luck.
So we had dinner tonight ..MEXICAN, yummy! Jamie, and I went with one of our tour managers. The other girls will be getting in later on tonight..So I still haven't met any of the other models yet :)
I'm sooo tired, so I will talk to you tomorrow!

Wednesday 2/11
I love the other girls! :) Let's just get that out there..
Today we assembled the USB drives..MY HANDS HURT!!!! We finally finished our training and all of us girls went to Beach Karaoke...yes...we did...we sang.."Pour some sugar on me". Not to toot my own horn..but we rocked so TOOT TOOT! :) haha..I'm done being corny for a second..After the beach bar place Jamie, Sara and I went to a really good Sushi place..and we know I don't like sushi but I had some really good rice and vegetables. OMG SO GOOD! So let me tell you about this ordeal..ready? We ended up getting a ride from the hotel to the Sushi restaurant, waited in the rain, a bum walked up to us, asked us "is that yalls beer?" .."Um, No" ohh okay "I'm going to throw it back", so he decided it was a good idea to drink a STRANGERS beer, and then stumbled off..so we look up and these people are ROLLING (Laughing ..to clarify) at us..so we go inside for a second and they talk to us for a minute, ask us did we want to wait at their table..and we declined...BAD choice. Back outside we go..oh what do you know..ANOTHER bum walks up to us and this guy standing out there listens to his entire story and gives him 20 bucks. We thought we were going to get robbed. Our food finally came (we got it to go) and we waited another 45 minutes for a ride. Finally we make it back to our hotel and we go to B.E.D.

Thursday 2/12
At the track all day..it was a lot of fun! Our first day on the job..took lots of pictures, talked to hundreds of people, and I got stalked by Hector. Nice.

Friday 2/13
Track again, pretty much the same..pictures, people and HECTOR AGAIN!!! ahhhh...a stalker already!?! Isn't it kind of early for this?! Please see below for the story on Hector..
(HECTOR'S STORY..He came up to Jamie and I and told us he worked for Nascar - Mexico. He then told us his card was DECLINED when he tried to purchase $160 worth of tickets, and blah blah blah..after the conversation he ended it with..*GASP* a kiss on my ear..EWWW!)
So now that you know about Hector..we have a code on the radio for him..CODE 9. Just in case he comes back again..

RACE DAY! Jeff Gordon won one of the races..Woo hoo! :) and Jamie and I went to a little bit of the race and it was really fun..however long tracks aren't my thing..I def. prefer SHORT tracks!

I'm going home... :) it's early..whew! I've been getting up every morning at 4/5am..yikes! Can't wait to sleep in! Boarding my plane..

I went to the mall today to pick up my pageant gown for Mrs. NC International and after I paid for it..about 5 minutes later my phone rang..I recognized the number..They called me back and said they would LOVE for me to join the ask.com tour!!!!! Did I get the job?

I went in on Monday for my interview. I feel like it went really well! I was supposed to get an answer yesterday on if I got the job or not..and no one ever called. booo. I did get a email saying we would find out today because they were doing a casting in Chicago on Wednesday. Apparently 800+ girls interviewed for the job..
So, I finally got the call..about 5:30..They told me the Client loved me, and that I was great etc..BUT they went in another direction. So I didn't get the job. That's okay..if it were meant to be then I would have gotten the job. So I know something bigger and better is waiting for me..I'll let you know when I figure out what it is...

So I got a email today from my agent saying I was chosen to come interview for a new position working with Ask.com and Nascar. I am SO excited! The interview is in Charlotte on Monday at 11:40am. Pray I get the job... :) Great pay, fun traveling..why would anyone NOT want the job?!?! Jess is going to come with me on Sunday and we are going to go stay with one of my friends I went to High School with. He is being very nice and letting us stay at his house for free! :) woo hoo!
I will keep you updated and let you know how it goes..
